1. Acceptance
By using custosxi.com or installing CustosXI you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the site or software.
2. What CustosXI is
CustosXI is a local visibility and analysis tool for Windows network activity. It is not designed to guarantee prevention, detection, or full incident response. It does not replace antivirus, firewalls, EDR, or enterprise SIEM products.
3. Beta software
CustosXI is distributed as beta software. It may contain bugs, incomplete features, or inaccurate signals. You use it at your own risk. Back up important data and test in lab environments when possible.
4. Acceptable use
- Use CustosXI only on systems you own or are authorized to monitor.
- Do not use it for illegal interception, harassment, or unauthorized access.
- Comply with applicable laws (including privacy and employment rules where relevant).
5. Privileges and components
Installation and some features require administrator privileges. Optional components (Npcap, Suricata, third-party APIs) have their own licenses and risks - you are responsible for installing and configuring them.
6. No warranty
The site and software are provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giorgio Ciranni and the CustosXI project are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, revenue, or business arising from use of the site or software.
8. Downloads
Download installers only from custosxi.com or official mirrors we publish. See Download and Security.
9. Donations
Voluntary support via PayPal is not required to use CustosXI, does not unlock hidden features, and does not by itself grant a commercial license unless separately agreed in writing. See Support and License.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
