Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026 - applies to custosxi.com (this website)

Short answer: this website does not use marketing, profiling, or advertising cookies. Our own JavaScript does not set cookies or use browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) for tracking.

What we verified on custosxi.com

The public site is a static website. As of the current build:

  • No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or similar marketing tags.
  • No login, newsletter, or comment forms that store sessions in cookies.
  • No embedded PayPal widgets (donations open on paypal.com in a new tab).
  • No first-party cookies set.
  • Contact is via mailto: links only.

Cookies that may still appear (third-party infrastructure)

When you visit custosxi.com, Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, TLS, bot protection) may set strictly necessary technical cookies or use similar technologies, for example:

  • security and bot management (e.g. challenge or rate-limiting),
  • delivery and performance of the site.

These are controlled by Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider, not by CustosXI application code. Blocking all cookies in the browser may affect security features.

Analytics

We do not embed third-party analytics scripts in the HTML of this site. If aggregated metrics are enabled in the Cloudflare dashboard (e.g. Web Analytics), they are configured at infrastructure level. Check your browser cookies after a visit if you need to confirm what is present.

downloads.custosxi.com (separate subdomain)

Installer files and API endpoints are served from downloads.custosxi.com. The website may call that API (e.g. file list, latest version) via fetch. Those requests do not add marketing cookies to custosxi.com from our frontend code. Download statistics are stored on the server side (Worker/KV), not in your browser cookie jar for normal visitors.

When you leave our site

If you open PayPal from the Support page, PayPal may set its own cookies under its policy. The CustosXI Windows app is separate from this website; see Privacy Policy section B.
