CustosInstall CustosXI as a Windows application with a local Worker service and tray helper. Download the official installer from custosxi.com/download.
- Administrator privileges are required for installation and the background service
- The installer bundles .NET 10 (self-contained) and may install Windows App SDK Runtime 1.8 when missing
- After install, the first-run setup wizard configures protection preset, network adapter, DNS sinkhole, and a short capture test

What the installer does and does not include
The official CustosXI-Setup.exe ships the application, bundled runtimes, and open-source libraries documented on the Third-party notices page.
Not distributed with CustosXI: Npcap, Suricata, PostgreSQL server, MaxMind GeoLite2 database files, and any third-party API keys or threat feeds. You obtain, install, and license those separately when you choose to use them.
